ESTIMATES: We are constantly asked to ballpark or estimate the cost of a build or upgrade. Here are a few unknowns about your project. Until the vehicle or specific component is torn down, inspected, and assessed, we will not know the answer.

• How many components are reusable/rebuildable?
• How many parts will need to be replaced?
• How much time will it take to locate, purchase and ship each of those individual parts?
• If new parts are not available (restorations) what will the condition of NOS or used parts be? How much time will it take to properly prepare or rebuild each part to satisfy our expectations?
• How much time will it take to envision, design and produce custom fabricated parts, such as 4-links, roll cages, chassis, etc?

Because of these and other unknown factors, we build most projects by the hour, unless the procedure is covered in published service labor guides. Addendums or changes desired by the customer are usually taken in stride, and assessed as necessary.

During the build, we provide customers with digital photos of progress, and a digital photo album when completed. The invoice will show each individual part description, its manufacturer, and its part number. Also, during the build, we contact the customer for parts/labor deposits as needed, as discussed prior to the build start. As with any legitimate automotive shop, the customer will be billed for applicable fees such as waste oil/ coolant disposal, tire disposal, actual shipping charges, unrecoverable core charges, and all applicable taxes. We also charge a minor credit card transaction fee.

PLEASE NOTE: We offer free tech support to customers who have purchased major products or packages from us. We offer basic consultation via email to persons considering the purchase of major products or projects from us. We are sorry, it is economically unfeasible to offer free service in support of products/services purchased elsewhere.

WARRANTY: Brutal Off-Road will stand behind all labor for one year from delivery date, unless a “no warranty” placard is affixed to the invoice due to customer misuse history installing used parts or specific work requested, such as “patching.” Brutal Off-Road installed parts are sold as-is, with only the manufacturer's warranty implied, due to the extreme use of vehicles that are prepared at Brutal Off-Road. Parts or services performed at Brutal Off-Road will not be under warranty if they fail, as a result of second party modification, repair, run low on lubricants, or other liquids, or induced water into sealed units thru breathers. Steering and suspension fabrication is not intended for use on public roadways. Brutal Off-Road cannot be held responsible for injury or death to any person or property.
